ワインはドウロ地域として分類されていますが、実際はBurgundyに関してはChablisの位置に多少似ています。ワインは非常に独創的なスタイルで純粋な味を醸し出しています。 お求め安い価格であるに関わら素晴らしいオーガニックワインです。

A household name for organic olive oil in Portugal, Quinta do Romeu also produces organic wines and cork in a wild and remote location near the northern border with Spain.
Surrounded by olive groves and cork forests, this charming and rustic estate was designed by industrial engineer Clemente Meneres in the 1870s as an ancestral version of today’s biodynamic concept.
It is still run the same way five generations later. The wines are classified as Douro, but the location is a satellite of the Douro Superior region (somewhat like Chablis’ position with respect to Burgundy). The wines convey nice pure flavors in a very artisanal style. A very good value organic production.
Currently this estate is going through biodynamic certification.
