I. Dominio de la Vega ドミニオ・デ・ラ・ベガ
スペインの地中海沿岸に近い丘陵地帯、バレンシア近郊のウティエル・レケーナ地区にあるドミニオ・デ・ラ・ベガから、最高品質のカヴァをお届けします。
市場には大量生産されたカヴァが多く出回っていますが、最近では、高品質のブドウのみを使用し、3～5年以上熟成させた、より高い品質レベルの職人技による上質なカヴァを楽しむことができるようになりました。これらのカヴァは高品質のシャンパーニュに近い水準に達しているにもかかわらず、価格はずっとリーズナブル。ぜひお試し下さい。

1. Cerro Tocon Blanc de Noirs 2016 ¥7,200 （デキャンタ97点）
DVのトップ・カヴァで、非常に限られた量しか造られない。1.4haの特別な区画のピノ・ノワール100%で、最初に35%流出した果汁から造られ、瓶詰め前に樽で保管されます。リリース前に5年間熟成させ、ドサージュは6g/l。特別な日にふさわしい美しいカヴァです。個別化粧箱入
2. Brut Reserva Especial 2018 ¥4,200 （デキャンタ96点）
このメゾンが造る高品質なカヴァの中でも入門編として素晴らしい一本。マカベオとシャルドネのブレンドから造られています。リリース前に3年間熟成させ、ドサージュは6g/l。
本当に上質なクラシック・カヴァで、非常にお買い得です。高品質なスパークリングワインが好きな人にお薦め。
3. Pinarejo Cuvee Prestige 2018 ¥4,800 （92点 Guia Penin）
単一畑（ピナレホ）のシャルドネ100％のカヴァで、最初に40％流出した果汁から造られ、瓶詰め前に樽で保管されます。ブリュット・ナチュール “スタイルで、二次発酵後4年間熟成。
非常に辛口のカヴァで、少し渋く、現在の流行のスタイルです。スパークリングワインに慣れ親しみ、より辛口のスタイルを好む方向け。
4. Brut Reserva Especial Rosé 2019 ¥4,500 （デキャンタ90点）
ピノ・ノワールの優れた区画から造られる上質なロゼ・カヴァで、リリース前に30ヶ月熟成、ドサージュは6g/l。上質でフルーティーなロゼを楽しみたい方向けで、泡がよく溶け込んでいます。夏に最適。
5. Paraje Tornel 2018 ¥3,000 （デキャンター95点）
ボバル種から造られる高品質の赤ワインで、12ヶ月の樽熟成後、最低12ヶ月の瓶内熟成を経てリリースされます。ガーネットがかった赤色で、ミディアムフルボディ。香りはスパイスとコーヒー、バルサミコのニュアンスと熟した赤い果実。
6. Finca La Beata 2016 ¥6,400（93点 グイア・ペニン）
100周年を迎えたボバルの畑から造られる、このメゾンの最高級赤ワイン。
3,000本の限定生産で、トップイヤーにのみ造られる。各ボトルは個別の化粧箱に入っています。
濃厚なチェリーレッドの色調と複雑なアロマ。熟した赤と黒の果実のノートにミネラルとスパイシーな要素。
II. Adega Ponte da Boga アデガ・ポンテ・ダ・ボガ
1898年創業のリベイラ・サクラの歴史ある生産者、アデガ・ポンテ・ダ・ボガの新入荷ワインもございます。
リベイラ・サクラは、ガリシア地方にある心にしみるほど美しい地域で、主に赤ワインを生産し、「英雄的なブドウ栽培」で知られている。ブドウは50～55度以上の非常に急な斜面で栽培され、区画によってはアクセスが非常に困難な場合もあります。サンティアゴ・デ・コンポステーラ大学＋ガリシア生物学ミッション（CSIC）との共同プロジェクトで、ガリシアの優れた先祖伝来のブドウ品種を復活させた、古い地元のブドウ品種に由来するものもあります。
冷涼な気候のワインで、やや素朴なスタイル、軽快でアロマティック。赤ワインは14～15度に冷やし、空気に十分に触れさせることをお勧めします。
7. PB Godello G 2022 ¥3,000 （白）
フルーティーな甘みと酸味のバランスが良く、非常に特徴的でエレガントな地場品種（ゴデッロ）の白ワイン。適度なアロマがあり、リンゴ、洋ナシ、レモン、ミネラルの要素がブレンドされた味わい。
8. PB Blanco Lexitimo 2022 ¥4,800 （白）
回復した白品種（ブランコ・レシティモ）をステンレスで発酵させ、少量の樽を使用。ミディアムボディ、芳香なアロマ、リンゴ、洋ナシ、トロピカルフルーツの要素を含む魅力的で複雑なフレーバー。ローヌの白ワインを彷彿とさせます。
9. PB Mencia P 2021 ¥2,600（赤）
リベイラ・サクラの最も特徴的な品種であるメンシアのフレッシュな若いワイン。ポンテ・ダ・ボガの「P」は「プライマリー」ワインを意味します。軽いボディ、力強いルビー色、フレッシュで香り高くエレガント。ベリーや赤い果実のアロマに土のニュアンスが含まれます。
10. PB Pizarras y Esquistos 2020 ¥3,200 （赤）
– ミーニョ川のほとりにある粘板岩土壌の畑と、シル川とビベイ川の区画にある片岩土壌の畑から造られるメンシアワイン。ダークチェリーを思わせる深いルビー色で、黒い果実と甘草の強烈なアロマがあり、ブラックベリーのニュアンスが口に広がる。私たちはこのワインをとても気に入っている。
11. PB Porto de Lobos 2018 ¥4,500 （赤）
– ポルト・デ・ロボスは、スペインではブランセリャオ（ポルトガルではアルバレリャオ）として知られる先祖伝来の地場赤ワイン品種。ミディアムボディ、濃厚なルビー色、香水のようなアロマ、カシスや花の要素を含む複雑なブーケ。非常に繊細で爽やか。
12. PB Capricho de Merenzao 2018 ¥4,500（赤）
– フランスのジュラ地方とサヴォワ地方のトルソーと親戚関係にあるとされる、メレンザオと呼ばれる回復した地元の赤品種から。ミディアムボディ、濃厚なプラム色、繊細なアロマ、ラズベリーとチェリーを強調したブーケ。非常に洗練された、美しい飲み心地。
New Spanish wines are now on sale!
We have just taken delivery of some very nice new wines from Spain. Representing both sparkling wine (Cava) and still wines, all of them are new to the Japan market.
I. Dominio de la Vega
We have top quality Cava from Dominio de la Vega in Spain’s Utiel-Requena district near Valencia, a hilly region near Spain’s Mediterranean coast.
Although there is a lot of mass-produced Cava in the market, recently we have been enjoying fine artisanal Cava at a much higher quality level that uses only the best grapes, and is aged for 3-5 years or more. These Cavas are of a standard similar to high quality Champagne, but the price is much more reasonable. We really recommend trying them.

Below is a brief description with an international rating or from Guia Peñin, the best known wine publication in Spain.
Cava wines (from left to right):
1. Cerro Tocon Blanc de Noirs 2016 ¥7,200 (97 points Decanter)
– DV’s top Cava, made in very limited quantities. 100% Pinot Noir from a special 1.4 ha plot, made from the first 35% runoff of the juice and kept in barrel before bottling. Aged for 5 years before release, 6 g/l dosage.
– a beautiful Cava, appropriate for very special occasions. Each bottle comes in an individual presentation box.
2. Brut Reserva Especial 2018 ¥4,200 (96 points Decanter)
– a great introduction to the quality Cava made by this house. Made from a blend of Macabeo and Chardonnay. Aged for 3 years before release, 6 g/l dosage.
– a truly fine classic Cava and extremely good value. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys good quality sparkling wine.
3. Pinarejo Cuvee Prestige 2018 ¥4,800 (92 points Guia Penin)
– a 100% Chardonnay Cava from a single vineyard (Pinarejo), made from the first 40% runoff of the juice and kept in barrel before bottling. In the “brut nature” style, aged for 4 years after secondary fermentation, 0 g/l dosage.
– a very dry Cava, a bit austere, a style that is currently quite trendy. For those who are familiar with sparkling wine and prefer drier styles.
4. Brut Reserva Especial Rosé 2019 ¥4,500 (90 points Decanter)
– a fine rosé Cava made from an excellent plot of Pinot Noir grapes, aged for 30 months before release, 6 g/l dosage.
– for people who enjoy a fine fruity rosé, with well-integrated bubbles. Excellent for this season.
Red wines (right hand side):
5. Paraje Tornel 2018 ¥3,000 (95 points Decanter)
– a high quality red made from the Bobal grape, aged in barrel for 12 months and then aged a minimum of 12 months in bottle before release.
– garnet red color with medium-full body. On the nose, spices and coffee together with balsamic notes and ripe red fruits.
6. Finca La Beata 2016 ¥6,400 (93 points Guia Penin)
– the top red from this house, made from their centenary Bobal vineyards, aged in barrel for 18 months and then further in bottle before release.
– production limited to 3,000 bottles, made only in top years. Each bottle comes in an individual presentation box.
– intense cherry red color with aromatic complexity. Notes of ripe red and black fruit with mineral and spicy elements.
II. Adega Ponte da Boga
We also have new arrivals from Adega Ponte da Boga, a historic producer in Ribera Sacra founded in 1898.
Ribeira Sacra is a hauntingly beautiful region in Galicia, producing mostly red wine, and known for its “heroic viticulture”. The grapes are grown on very steep slopes of 50-55 degrees or more, and some of the plots can be very difficult to access. Some derive from old local grape varieties that have been recovered in a joint project with the University of Santiago de Compostela + Biological Mission of Galicia (CSIC) to bring back fine ancestral grape varieties of Galicia.
These are cool climate wines, somewhat rustic in style, light and aromatic. We recommend chilling the reds to 14-15 degrees and giving them plenty of exposure to air.
7. PB Godello G 2022 ¥3,000 (white)
– a very characteristic and elegant local white variety (Godello) with a nice balance between fruity sweetness and acidity. Moderately aromatic, it presents a blend of flavors including apples, pears, lemon, and mineral elements.
8. PB Blanco Lexitimo 2022 ¥4,800 (white)
– a recovered white variety (Blanco Lexitimo), fermented in stainless steel with a small proportion in barrel. Medium body, perfumed aromatics, and a fascinating complex array of flavors including apples, pears, and tropical fruit elements. A lovely wine, in certain ways reminiscent of a Rhône white.
9. PB Mencia P 2021 ¥2,600 (red)
– a fresh young Mencia wine, the most characteristic variety of Ribeira Sacra. The “P” stands for Ponte da Boga’s “Primary” wine. Presenting a light body, intense ruby color, fresh, fragrant, and elegant. Aroma of berries and red fruits with earthy notes.
10. PB Pizarras y Esquistos 2020 ¥3,200 (red)
– a Mencia wine originating from two vineyards: one featuring slate soil on the banks of the Miño river, and the other with schist soil in the plots of the Sil and Bibei rivers. Deep ruby color reminiscent of dark cherries, an intense aroma of black fruits and licorice, with hints of blackberry on the palate. We really like this one.
11. PB Porto de Lobos 2018 ¥4,500 (red)
– an ancestral local red variety known as Brancellao in Spain (and Alvarelhão nearby in Portugal). Medium body, intense ruby color, perfumed aromatics, and a complex bouquet of currants and floral elements. Very fine and refreshing.
12. PB Capricho de Merenzao 2018 ¥4,500 (red)
– from a recovered local red variety known as Merenzao, believed to be related to Trousseau in France’s Jura and Savoie. Medium body, intense plummy color, fine aromatics, and a bouquet emphasizing raspberries and cherries. Very sophisticated, a beautiful drinking experience.
